Impressive growth in the NSW market has seen the need to appoint a hungry Sydney-based business development manager. We are looking for someone who is excited about generating new business across the architecture and design market and is relentless in their pursuit of new connections.

  • Ability to research and build a network of partnerships with top tier prospects;
  • Manage and nurture a client pipeline and execute key long-term relationships in market;
  • Have a collaborative approach with internal stakeholders to ensure sales opportunities are aligned with the broader business objectives and values;
  • Be highly motivated, creative and strategically minded, with a rich experience in design/architecture sales;
  • Acquiring and closing Sales opportunities
  • Be a team player – collaborative with a positive mindset;
  • Lead by example and set the bar high for effective sales strategy;
  • Be results focused and have the ability to operate effectively under pressure and handle deadlines, tight timeframes and rejection;
  • Demonstrate creativity, curiosity and innovation in all aspects of the role;
  • Have excellent communication, presentation skills and a great eye for detail;
  • Be highly accountable – a self-starter who manages their own time effectively and is able to work autonomously/remotely;
  • The ability to read specifications, plans and tenders and some experience in quoting, tendering and closing contracts;
  • Nurturing existing relationships whilst researching and identifying new opportunities;
  • Able to travel interstate, attend trade fairs, show and special events to promote the business

To be the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate strong prior experience and success selling to the architectural and design market. Qualifications and experience in commercial design will be favorably regarded.

Existing industry contacts are highly desired, and candidates must have 3-5 years proven business development experience in the design and architecture sales space.

Office Assistant

Made up of a highly collaborative and creative team of individuals dedicated to providing Architects and Designers with high quality hospitality furniture solutions throughout Australia. They are dynamic, growth orientated and provide an awesome work culture.

Their growth strategy has seen the need to appoint an Officer Assistant working with the Office Manager to ensure efficient company operations for both internal and external customers. The role requires you to liaise with customers and suppliers, data entry including maintaining the estimating library and CRM.

Other responsibilities include website maintenance, phone and email sales enquiries, showroom maintenance, and administration tasks including Banking, Post and Filing.

Reporting to the Office Manager, key responsibilities will include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers where required, mainly via inbound phone calls
  • Data entry of products and materials into the estimating library
  • Maintain CRM Database
  • Maintain website with updated pricing on current products
  • Sales enquires via telephone and email by maintaining the Sales mailboxes
  • Maintain showroom
  • Administration tasks such as Banking, Post, Filing, internal documents etc
  • Assist Office Manager with various office duties
  • Minimum 3-5yrs experience in similar role
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Must have good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Confidence in learning new systems
  • Self Motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with a pleasant and willing to help phone manner
  • Commitment, energy, drive, initiative and passion
  • Neat and Tidy Presentation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount
  • Punctual, reliable and good work ethic
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a friendly team environment
  • Must have own car and current Drivers Licence

To be the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate strong prior experience in office administration. Experience with Architects and Designers will be favorably regarded.
